If you’ve been following my blog for quite some time now, you should know that I have become quite a makeup junkie. Drugstore makeup are my favorite because they fit my student budget and most of them are of really great quality!

Anyway, since I got here, I’ve been taking quick trips to our local drugstores (CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid) to pick up the products that are on my wishlist. I have built up quite a few, and here they are!

Last week, I found out that one of mom’s good neighbors, Carmen, is a professional makeup artist by profession. I also found out that she sells MAC products for cheaper prices and of course, the most obvious thing to do is to take advantage! She’s selling MAC lipsticks at 13 dollars a pop (roughly around 500 in Philippine pesos) and now I’m six tubes of lipsticks happier :-)

I didn’t really get out of my comfort zones as I still picked shades that I could use on a regular basis.

Top: Impassioned - This one’s an amplified creme lippy in a bright pinky coral shade | Bottom: Pink Plaid - It’s a sort of muted mauve-y pink that is perfect for everyday use.

Top: Creme D’Nude - My first ever nude lipstick. Fortunately, it didn’t look so bad on me! It’s the first nude lipstick that didn’t make me look super pale. | Bottom: Girl About Town - The lighting is pretty bad so you can’t see the color properly but it’s a bright fuchsia pink. It’s actually my sister’s choice so you wouldn’t see me wear this often!

Top: Russian Red - This one is a popular MAC shade cause it’s the perfect shade of red. It’s really pretty and I’m so excited to wear it on a night out soon! | Bottom: Coral Bliss - This has been part of my wish list for quite a while now and I’m so happy I finally have it! It’s a gorgeous shade of soft pink coral <3

I’m planning to buy a couple more soon but I haven’t decided on which shades yet. If you know of one that is worth trying, please please let me know (LOL, that sounded so redundant).

Happy Monday, everyone!

As usual, I spent an embarassing amount of time browsing my favorite online stores and filling up an imaginary cart that I know I would never even check out! Most of these stuff aren’t locally available, and I have to wait til I go to the States before I get to purchase them. I would love to get a hold of them now, but I am not a fan of the crazy expensive shipping charges!

Anyway, I found a ton more stuff that I want, but I narrowed it down to 7 so it wouldn’t be annoying.

1. Maybelline The Rocket Mascara (x) - My favorite beauty gurus have been raving about this one, and I would love to try it! 
2. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation (x) - This foundation is supposedly a total dupe for the Urban Decay Naked foundation. And since I’m a fan of both Urban Decay and Revlon, I’m dying to get my hands on it!
3. Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder (x) - To match the foundation, lol! 
4. L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick (x) - Also called as caresse sticks, they are a supposed dupe for YSL lipsticks. I’ve already listed the shades that I want: Rose Tafetta and Sunset Angora, among others.
5. Pacsun Kendall & Kylie Sleeveless Open Back Shirt (x) - If anyone of you don’t know, Kendall & Kylie Jenner just released their own collection for PacSun. I’ve picked out my top two favorites and this was one of them! I absolutely love the crochet panel and the cut at the back.
6. Pacsun Kendall & Kylie House Dress (x) - Here’s my other favorite. I’m not a fan of the collar tipped with gold hardware, but I’m crazy over the overall cut of the dress.
7. Forever 21 Icee Muscle Tee (x) - I don’t own a lot of muscle shirts, so I chose this one. I love that it’s ombre and has “Icee” written on it (HA!)
8. Nasty Gal Odette Romper (x) - I’m slowly becoming a fan of rompers! I love the fact that I can wear them just as they are or tuck them inside my jeans when I feel like it. This particular romper caught my eye cause it’s an instant classic. It’s so chic with its knotted shoulders and its gold buttons.

Thanks for tagging me, Nina! It’s been a while since I engaged in a blog tag so let’s do this, shall we?

1. BLUSH OR BRONZER - This one’s a no-brainer - blush, of course! Blushes are my favorite beauty items next to lipsticks. And I was never a fan of bronzers anyway, I never figured out how to apply them properly.
2. LIPGLOSS OR LIPSTICK - Lipstick! I don’t like the feel of lipglosses. I think they’re too sticky for my liking.
3. LIP BUTTER OR LIP BALM - As much as I love my lip butters, I would have to side on lip balms. Nothing is more moisturizing than a good old lip balm.
4. MATTE OR SPARKLE EYESHADOW - I have never tried matte eyeshadow, so I’ll settle for sparkle.
5. FOUNDATION OR CONCEALER - Foundation. I’ve tried plenty of concealers in the past, but none of them worked for me. I have yet to find the concealer that would suit me perfectly.
6. EYELINER OR MASCARA - Both! Eyeliners make my eyes bigger than they actually are + who doesn’t like perfectly groomed eyelashes?
7. LOOSE POWDER OR PRESSED POWDER - Pressed powder. I was never a fan of loose powder to begin with because they tend to get really messy. Pressed powders are obviously the better option.
8. BRUSHES, SPONGES, OR FINGERS - I use brushes for my blushes and powders and sponges for my foundation. I occasionally use my fingers too, but that’s only when I use liquid foundation.
9. WATERPROOF OR NON-WATERPROOF - Definitely waterproof. Non-waterproof products give me the panda eyes.
10. ITEM/S YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT - Foundation & blush

As promised, here is an updated makeup collection! 

I store most of my makeup in this pink traincase I got from K-Mart last summer. Now the contents have moderately changed since my last makeup collection post cause I threw away the stuff that I don’t use anymore, plus I have acquired a couple of new products over the past months.

These are the stuff I put in the top bunk of my traincase.

Top (L-R): Dream Smooth Mousse foundation (current favorite), MAC Immortal Flower blush (my go-to blush!), Nichido Pressed Powder, Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Natural

Bottom (L-R): ELF Candid Coral blush, ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder, Milani Powder Blush in Luminous, Dream Bouncy blush in Pink Frosting (I have another in Hot Tamale but it’s not with me right now), and NYX blush in Pinched

I also have three black pencil eyeliners (Revlon ColorStay, NYX and Avon Glimmersticks), two concealers (Benefit Boi-ing and MAC Studio Finish), a NYX eyeshadow base, two tubes of Softlips and three eyeshadow brushes.

My lipsticks are stored in the small compartment on the top bunk as well.

I’m not sure if you could see the colors but these are my NYX lipsticks! I obviously have a lot but they are my favorite! And besides, a girl can never have too many lipsticks :-)

Top (L-R): Fire (best red lipstick I’ve ever tried), Haute Melon, Stella, Tea Rose (good for everyday use)

Bottom (L-R): Heredes, B52, Fig (my favorite pink lipstick) and Spell Bound

Here are my MAC ones: Lustering, See Sheer and Crosswires. I have another one in Force of Love but it’s with my sister at the moment.

My Revlon lip butters! I have one in Peach Parfait and one in Cotton Candy

And these are the lipsticks that don’t fit in any category (LOL). Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Cover in Coral-ine, Maybelline Watershine Pure in BM31 (this is my current favorite! I use it everyday) and Baby Lips in Pink Punch - this is not exactly a lipstick but it has a color pay off.
